Student Fees Set for 2007-2008

At its April 12 meeting, the Board of Education established the following student fees for the 2007-2008 school year:

The bus transportation fee for students whose residence is within 1.5 miles of school will be increased from $160.00 to $170.00 and is due in full by July 6, 2007. There is no bus transportation fee for those students who reside beyond 1.5 miles from school. A late registration fee of $35.00 will be added to all applications received after July 6, 2007.

The driver’s education behind-the-wheel fee for 2007-2008 will remain $350.00.

The student parking user fee will be increased to from $60.00 to $65.00 per semester.

The textbook/instructional supply fee for the 2007-2008 school year will be increased from $140.00 to $160.00.

The price for the standard breakfast will remain $1.35 per meal for students, and increase from $1.50 to $1.60 for adults. The standard lunch cost will remain $1.95 per meal (with milk) for students, and increase from $2.50 to $2.60 for adults. The price for students who qualify for reduced price meals will remain 30¢ per breakfast and 40¢ per lunch.
