MAP Testing Information

The High School District 211 Board of Education approved a new assessment series called Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) for administration to students in selected English and mathematics courses. District 211 students were tested using the MAP assessment system during the test window from September 13 to the 28, 2007.

Fall test results were mailed to parents in mid-October, along with Scoring Interpretation Guides that will assist in the review of student’s scores. Information generated by this assessment will help teachers focus instruction on specific academic needs for each student. Please note that students may not have both English and mathematics test scores because of the specific courses in which he or she is enrolled.
