High School District 211 receives Financial Excellence Award
The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International recently awarded Township High School District 211 with a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for excellence in the preparation and issuance of the fiscal year end 2010 school system Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This award, the highest recognition for school district financial operations ofered by ASBO, reflects District 211’s commitment to the highest standards of school financial reporting.
ASBO International is a professional organization which provides programs and services to promote successful school business management practices, professional growth, and the effective use of educational resources. It created the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Program to enable school business officials to achieve a high standad of financial reporting. The Certificate of Excellence Award is presented to school systems that adhere to sound principles and reporting procedures and have met or exceeded the standards of the program.
