Class of 2017 – Placement Test Information

Welcome, eighth grade students who will attend a District 211 high school in the fall 2013. One of the most important steps in preparing to enter high school next year is for you to complete the High School District 211 Placement Test Series. Along with your current academic performance, this test series will help determine your freshman year course placement.

District 211 Placement Tests for the Class of 2017 will be administered on:

• Date: Saturday, December 1, 2012
• Test Time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
• Student Arrival: 7:45 a.m.
• Place: Each District 211 High School
• Materials Needed: Sharpened #2 pencils, Calculator (allowed, but not required)

You are scheduled to take the examination at the high school that you will attend next year.

Bus transportation to and from the school will be furnished for students who need it. Please refer to the bus schedule that was mailed. Pick-up will begin at 7:25 a.m. Plan to arrive at your stop early and stay until the bus arrives, as the specific pick-up time for any location will depend upon the bus route. You should board the first District 211 bus that arrives at your stop. If you cannot find your bus pick-up point on the schedule that was mailed, please call the Transportation Office at (847) 755-6796 for further information.

If you choose to provide your own transportation, plan to arrive at your high school no later than 7:45 a.m. and to be picked up by 10:45 a.m.
