Lynn Davis,
Board of Education Vice President
Lynn Davis was elected to the Board of Education in April, 1999 and was re-elected in 2003 and 2007. She was elected Board vice president in May, 2007, and served as Board secretary in 2003 and 2004. Mrs. Davis serves on the Board policy and facilities committees, as well as having served previously as Board special event liaison and Board bid representative. She has been recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards with a “LeaderShop Academy” membership and as a “Master School Board Member.” She has been a member of Phi Theta Kappa Junior College Honor Society since 1988, and is an active contributor to Habitat for Humanity. Mrs. Davis completed her associate’s degree in liberal arts from William Rainey Harper College. In 2004, Mrs. Davis was nominated for a “Those Who Excel” award from the Illinois State Board of Education.
